Semolina pie

Semolina pie has a lot of recipes, but in all of them the main ingredient is a dairy product. I'll show you a classic pie recipe.


For semolina pie you'll need
a glass of any diary product (yogurt, kefir, clabber, etc.)
a glass of semolina
a glass of sugar
2 eggs
a tsp of soda
100 g of butter
1.5 glass of flour

Mix semolina and a chosen diary product together and leave to swell under a cover for 1-1.5 hours.
Mix eggs and sugar together and beat very well. Then mix together with melted butter, and add semolina, and mix again. After that mix together with flour, you should get not very thick dough.
Preheat the oven to 180°C, greese the shape and pour the dough out. Bake 45-55 minutes (or until it is covered with a golden crust). Then leave a pie inside of the oven for about 20 minutes (i can't explain why, but for me it works better than taking it away once it's ready :) ).
